Ready For School!!

So...It's school time.  For the first time we will have both of our children leaving for school during the day.  This is going to be one big change for us.  Blake is going to be starting kindergarten and Aiden is going to be starting preschool.  They are both so excited to be starting school and Blake gave me a huge hug when I tolf him tha the only had one more day until he went to school.  It was so cute to see that huge smile on his face.  I can only wish that he would be so excited about school starting all the rest of the years.  I don't see that being the case though so I am going to treasure just how excited he is now.  Aiden just can't wait to play on the playground that is at his school.  We went for orientation and he screamed the whole way home because he couldn't stay and play that same day.  Love that crazy boy.  I can't wait for Monday either, going to be a whole new chapter to our childrens lives and love seeing them becoming more and more independent everyday.  They are quickly groing into amazing little men and I can't wait to see what they become.

Wow Am I lazy or What?

I can't believe how long it has been since I posted.  I thought that it would be so much easier to just get on and let everyone know what is going on with us but, I am always doing others things and I never even think about posting.  I am going to try and be better about posting : )  Right now we are getting very exited about school starting.  Blake and Aiden can't wait to go to school!  Blake will be starting kindergarten and Aiden is going to be going to preschool.  The both can't wait for the first day of school.  I hope they are this excited for years to come.  Definitly going to be a big change for our household though.  Right now daddy and the boys sleep in until 10:30 or 110 before they get out of bed.  Now all of them are going to be getting up by 8 to get dressed and ready for school but I know that they will adjust quickly and have fun every day. I will have a few pictures to post later but for now that is about all that is new with us.  Lots of playing outside and preparing for school. 

HAPPY EASTER!!

Happy Easter everyone.  We hope that you have a great weekend filled with family and friends and lots of fun.  We had a party last night at Brett's house and today we are having a cook-out at our house for my parents and J's parents.  It should be lots of fun.

Aiden gets so tired from all of the activity that this is how he normally ends up.  Watching TV and just falls right asleep.  He didn't even have to lay his head down to pass out.  He is such a funny kid.

Birthday Boy! Now He Is 3!!

Wow, so I know that I have not posted in a really long time.  But, Aiden just had his 3rd birthday and I was bound and determined to get a post up about his big day.  So, here are a few pictures from his big day.

Yes he is wearing a helmet while opening his gifts.  He is very accident prone and tends to lead with his head so he has decided that his helmet is necessary on certain days.  He says he needs it.  LOL

I can't believe how fast my boys are growing up.  It seems like only yesterday that they were tiny little babies and now my baby is 3.  Crazy huh?

Ouch! :(

Normally Aiden is our accident prone child but last night Blake was the one.  He was trying to be a big helper and turn on his bedroom light.  So he was standing on his side table trying to reach the switch to turn the light on and the table broke and he fell through and sliced his leg open on a screw on the way down.  It was pretty bad but not to much bleeding.  Off to the hospital we went. He was very brave while he was there and only cried for a short time when they were numbing his leg (but I would have to) and 10 stitches later we left the ER.  He felt pretty good last night since it was still numb but I know that he will be hurting today, poor little guy :(  But now he is going to have a nice scar and a story to tell for years to come.  I know that I love to have a good story to go along with a good scar : )

It's been a long time and a christmas update!

I know.  It has been a long time since I updated this page.  I was working two jobs for the holiday season and it has been a very busy couple of months. Nothing has really changed around here though.  The boys had a blast for christmas.  Here is a short overview of all that they got.

The doctor kit was the hit of the year and they love to beat us at Don't Break the Ice.

This was by far the the best present of the day but with all the snow that we have gotten they have not been able to ride it outside yet.  But they are hoping to go out and play with it very soon.  I know that they are hoping that the snow melts for at least one day so that they can get out there and drive.  I am however loving all of the snow outside.

They had a great christmas but now we just have to figure out how to get them to keep all of there new toys up off of the floor and put away.  I don't see that happening anytime soon :)
